ABOUT
        ME

I'm YiMi, an animator based in Taiwan. I graduated from the Department of Animation, Taipei National University of the Arts with the degree of Bachelor of Fine Arts. 

​As an animator, I worked on the film "Praying Mantis," directed by Joe Hsieh, which was selected for the Orizzonti Short Film Competition at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival and also won the Best Animated Short Film award at the 62nd Golden Horse Awards. 

I also helped create several promotional animated films for festivals, like Longci Light Festival and Taiwan International Children's Film Festival. In 2019, I led a team to make a Promotional Animation for the COBALT Production Solution LLC, Dallas, United States.

I'm interested in combining 2D animation's vibrant energy into different projects to meet clients' needs. I believe in the artistry of animation could make each project special in their own ways, and I would always try my best to deliver it.
